This class has been added as an advanced students class.  It is for those who have taken workshops from other professional plein air instructors or are students from  my past classes.  This class will be smaller in size (limit of 12 students) and will expand the concepts and teachings of  previous workshops.  It is designed to build on previous instruction and principles provided in previous classes.

October 11 - 14, 2010
This Monday through Friday course is geared toward the beginning, intermediate and advanced  art student who is seeking to build skills in painting outdoors.  The class has been limited to 15 students to guarantee plenty of individual instruction time for each of the artists involved in the course!

May 9 - 13, 2011
This class is an advanced students class.  It is for those who have taken workshops from other professional plein air instructors or are students from  my past classes.  This class will be smaller in size (limit of 12 students) and will expand the concepts and teachings of  previous workshops.  It is designed to build on previous instruction and principles provided in previous classes.

These courses will include demonstrations by Mr. Jennings in outdoor painting technique, design concepts, materials and preparation. These demonstrations will offer the student an in depth look at the artist's thought process and technical applications that are needed to become proficient in plein air painting. Each day will find the class painting outdoors at a different location.  Mr. Jennings will offer personal instruction and information as the classes' paintings progress, assessing and guiding the works as they are being developed. Open discussions of art concepts and practical applications will help the students gain the necessary fundamentals needed to develop their talents in this exciting art genre.
